You can donate online to San Jose Stage!

San Jose Stage Company is a non-profit resident arts organization which must rely on private contributions for support. Your support will bridge the gap between ticket and subscription revenues and the 50% more it actually costs to produce quality professional theatre. Please consider making a tax-deductible donation to the Company. Contributions in any amount are greatly appreciated and reflect the generosity of our audiences.

Volunteer

There are many ways in which you can become an integral part of San Jose Stage Company. Volunteers and interns are a crucial part of the workings of the theatre.

Front of House:

Volunteers are needed to help with ushering and manning the concession stand. Front of House volunteers must be available starting at one hour before the performance and are asked to dress in black and white.

Production:

Volunteers are needed to help on specific dates with load-in and strike of sets. Production volunteers should wear clothing and shoes that allow for safety and range of movement.

Administration:

Volunteers are needed to help with bulk mailings, season subscription organization, and general office maintenance. Administrative volunteers must be available between noon and five PM weekdays.

Internships:

San Jose Stage Company is proud to offer production internships in various disciplines, including stage management, costuming, lighting, sound, and scenic design. The Company's intern program provides a professional working environment and affords students and all interested the opportunity to work with some of the Bay Area's top designers. Some administrative internships are also available. Academic credit may be arranged with future employment in theatre as a goal.

Auditions:

San Jose Stage Company audits the Theatre Bay Area General Auditions. For information, contact Theatre Bay Area. Information on our General Auditions will be posted soon. San Jose Stage Company operates under a BAT Tier III Equity contract and also Non-Union contracts. Call Back auditions are held throughout the year.
